The Bafang BBS02B 48V 750W Mid-Drive Motor is a high-power e-bike drive system built for off-road riding and private land use. With a rated output of 750W, this configuration is not permitted on public roads, cycle paths, or pavements in the UK or EU.

Based on Bafang’s proven BBS mid-drive platform, the BBS02B delivers strong, responsive pedal assistance using a cadence-based sensor system. Power engages smoothly as you pedal, giving a natural riding feel while providing the torque needed for steep climbs, loose terrain, and demanding trails.

As a mid-drive unit, the motor transfers power through the bike’s drivetrain rather than the wheel hub. This improves climbing efficiency, keeps weight centred and balanced, and allows the motor to take advantage of your bike’s gearing — resulting in better hill performance, improved battery efficiency, and more controlled handling compared to hub motors.

The system uses CAN Bus communication for stable operation and accurate data transfer between components. It’s compatible with a wide range of Bafang displays, allowing flexible setup and configuration. The compact, quiet design ensures reliable performance with minimal resistance when riding without assistance.
